RapidVideoMaker Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 May 2026

1. Purpose

These terms of use govern access to and use of the RapidVideoMaker service available at rapidvideomaker.com, operated by SECBEC (60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris).

Using the service constitutes unconditional acceptance of these terms. If you do not accept them, you must stop using the service.

2. Service Description

RapidVideoMaker is an online video processing tool that allows:

  • merging MP4 clips (combining 2 to 20 files into one);
  • replacing or mixing audio in an MP4 file with an MP3;
  • generating a video from an image (JPG/PNG) and an audio file (MP3).

The service is available without registration (within the weekly visitor quota) and with a free account (extended daily quota + REST API access).

3. Access Conditions

The service is open to any individual or legal entity. The user declares having the legal capacity to enter into a contract under the laws of their country of residence.

Access is subject to usage quotas:

  • Unregistered visitor: 3 processes per week (by IP address).
  • Registered member: 10 processes per day on the free plan (via interface and/or API).

These limits may be modified at any time without notice.

3bis. Social Sign-In (Google)

Members may create an account or sign in using their Google account via OAuth 2.0. By doing so, the member authorises RapidVideoMaker to retrieve their verified email address and display name from Google for the sole purpose of account creation or identification. No Google access token is retained after sign-in. If an account already exists with the same email address, it is automatically linked to the Google sign-in. The member may always sign in using their email and password as an alternative, and may delete their account at any time.

4. Permitted Uses

The user agrees to use the service only for lawful purposes and to process only files:

  • for which they hold the rights or have sufficient authorisation;
  • that comply with applicable laws (copyright, neighbouring rights, data protection).

5. Prohibited Uses

It is strictly prohibited to use RapidVideoMaker to:

  • process files containing illegal content (in particular: child sexual abuse material, hate speech, incitement to violence);
  • circumvent usage quotas by automated means or the creation of multiple accounts;
  • attempt to access other users' data or the service's operating systems;
  • carry out denial-of-service attacks (DoS/DDoS) or deliberately overload the servers;
  • use the REST API in ways contrary to these terms or likely to disrupt the service.

Any abusive use may result in immediate account suspension and/or reporting to the competent authorities.

6. Uploaded Files

Uploaded files (videos, audio, images) are processed exclusively to produce the requested output. They are automatically deleted 2 hours after processing. The editor claims no rights over these files and does not retain or analyse them for any other purpose.

The user remains solely responsible for the files they submit to the service and warrants that they hold the necessary rights for their processing.

7. Member Accounts

Creating an account requires a valid email address. The user agrees to provide accurate information and to maintain the confidentiality of their credentials.

Each account is personal and may not be shared. The editor reserves the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these terms.

The user may delete their account at any time from their member space, in accordance with their right to erasure (GDPR).

Members may connect third-party service accounts (social networks) to their RapidVideoMaker space. By connecting a third-party account, the member authorises RapidVideoMaker to publish content on that account on their behalf and under their responsibility. The publisher cannot be held responsible for content published on third-party platforms, nor for the consequences of a token revocation by the provider. The member remains subject to the terms of use of each third-party platform.

8. REST API

Access to the REST API is reserved for registered members with an authentication token. The API is subject to the same quotas as the interface (interface + API share the same daily counter).

The API token is personal and confidential. The user is solely responsible for calls made with their token. Any abusive use of the API may result in immediate token revocation.

8bis. Publishing to Social Networks

The social publishing feature is an optional service. RapidVideoMaker acts as a technical intermediary: it publishes the content you submit, on the accounts you have connected. You remain solely responsible for the published content. Any violation of a third-party platform's rules is your exclusive responsibility.

9. Intellectual Property

The source code, design, texts and the RapidVideoMaker brand are the exclusive property of SECBEC. Any reproduction, modification or redistribution without prior written authorisation is prohibited.

The user retains full ownership of the files they upload and the videos produced.

10. Service Availability

The editor endeavours to ensure the service is available 24/7, without however giving a contractual guarantee. Interruptions for maintenance, updates or technical incidents may occur at any time without notice.

The editor shall not be liable for any damage resulting from a service interruption.

11. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided as is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. The editor shall not be liable for:

  • loss of files resulting from a bug or service interruption;
  • any indirect damage arising from the use or inability to use the service;
  • content produced by users from files they have submitted.

12. Amendment of Terms

The editor reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Modifications take effect upon publication. Continued use of the service after modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties shall endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the competent courts of Paris shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
